Is calling people by thier real names in "comments" and effectively "unmasking" them, frowned up??? Just curious....I noticed Billy say "The Wolf" in a comment and it made me wonder if that was preferred?
Haha, don't let the Blog mom catch you again. I would say it is frowned upon in most cultures. Not that I care at this point b/c everyone knows who everyone is, but I did come up with what I thought was a cool name, so I do prefer to be called by it, or one of my other many aliases including but not limited to: His Dark Lord (HDL for short), WarEagle, FaustArp, roach01gt, and KittyKittyMeowMow.
It doesn't really matter to me what I'm called on here. I just thought "jason" or "finley" was boring relative to some of the other names on here, so i piggy-backed onto the Tarintino theme, thus, effectively naming myself while devaluing Mr. Orange's origniality.
I'm kind of the fan of the Alias. With how smart people are getting with searching the internet about people for job interviews I really don't want this blog showing up whenever someone searches my name.
Now I'm really curious, Eames, what the name means?
Are you a huge fan your your luxurious Eames lounge chair, or did you really like Tom Hardy's character in Inception so much you name yourself after him?

ReplyDeleteTidwell, you should really add the "blog rules" label to this post.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Billy, and you put my real name on the label of this post, ass.

ReplyDeleteI like the two of you (you know who you are) said to yourself, "OH SHIT!" and ran and changed your alias.
