I am not an avid facebook user as many of you probably know. I took to facebook today however b/c I was very curious what Auburn and Alabama fans would be posting in the wake of the intentional poisoning of the Toomer's Corner Trees. I was pleasantly surprised with some kind words I heard from some Alabama fans that I know...my surprise lasted about 48 seconds.....
BEFORE THE BAMA NATION OF MOUTHBREATHING, WIFE BEATING, SHIT KICKER WEARING, TOOTHLESS, MULLET ADORNED, SIBLING FUCKING, REDNECKS DECIDED TO SHOW THIER TRUE COLORS! FUCK THEM! I AM NOT GOING TO BE PRAGMATIC...."YOU CAN'T LIVE AND LET LIVE WITH BUGS!!!" I'M GOING TO ELMWOOD CEMETARY TONIGHT WITH PICKS AND SHOVELS...IM GONNA DIG THAT OLD DEGENERATE, MUMBLING, CHEATING, DRUNK ASS REDNECK UP AND BASTE HIS OLD ROTTING BONES WITH MY WARM, POST PAPA JOHN'S, SQUIRTS (Tub Girl style)! ANY OTHER CITIZENS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN!
(disclaimer: Obviously I have many good friends who are Alabama fans and are fantastic individuals and I love them! They know who they are and this doesn't reflect my feelings towards them in any way....but the rest can get fucked!)
At first I was pissed that you posted this and then I read it and realized you were 100% kidding. Honestly I don't want to fucking here about it, I don't want auburn fans lumping all bammers with this guy, I don't want to hear bammer fans saying auburn fans should get over it or that we are assholes for trashing bama fans. This guy is a fucking nut and thats all there is to it. Its fucking stupid that our rivalry is on the national news because of this fucktard.
ReplyDeletebut seriously most bama fans suck if were being honest. The vast majority of bama fans who are our generation are cool. And i would say that people that went to bama are very similar to people who went to auburn. The difference is between the fans that didnt go there. the so called bandwagon fans. Bama fans are made up of a majority of people who did not go there......bandwagon fans. This is due to the fact that they were the first major football program in the state............so everyone in this state grew up watching them.......and it got passed down from generation to generation..........and now every gas station attendant, fast food restaurant worker and homeless person in this state is a bama fan by consequence. Auburn fans are outnumbered easily 10 to 1 in this state. so of course we hear alot more shit..........and we are usually hearing it from some complete degenerate who never sniffed an Alabama degree from the college or any high school. So this of course stains the reputation of the people who actually went there and are not redneck fuckups. And thats not being an asshole pointing that out. Thats just the reality of the situation. So im not surprised at all by this tree poisoning. Im actually very surprised at the national attention it is getting. Every fucking home game we have some faggot tries to light the tree on fire and that doesnt get any attention outside of Auburn. this guy just actually succeeded. But really almost everyone i know who actually went to Bama does not go outside the boundry of normal shit talking. Its just unfortunate that bama fans who went to bama are so outnumbered by their bandwagon redneck fuckup counterparts
ReplyDeleteCould not agree more...and the fact that you are originally from NC, to me at least, makes your perspective on that particular dynamic even more persuasive. People that have no real affiliation to AU or UA are almost always Bama fans....and a large part of that group is comprised of dumbfucks...thus there are a lot more dumbfuck Bama fans than dumbfuck AU fans.
ReplyDeleteI was really pretty pissed when I wrote that but obviously it was written with tongue firmly against cheek. Now I don't want to hear about it or think about it either....but the reality is that everytime we go to a home game for a long time we are going to hear/think about it because our gameday celebration will be altered as the new tree takes root. I don't think it is overly dramatic at all, when I say that this is a day of mourning for the Auburn Family...and only Auburn people can understand that.
Agree with Tidwell and HE. Fuck Alabama. While lots of their fans are genuinely embarrased and sorry, lots of others just say shit like "Get over it. It was just a tree." If you say that then I lump you in with that piece of shit white trash that destroyed one of Auburn's greatest tradions and most historic landmarks. If you consider it "just a tree" then you can easily justify killing it just like you'd justify killing any other tree. Also, I don't want to forget or not talk about it. Every time Auburn does something great, folks in the state of Alabama who cheer for the other side start doing shit to put AU down. They can't handle the fact that Auburn is just as good as them.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I'm not comfortable generalizing an entire group of people based on one person's actions. While you all know the Dude is not a sympathizer with any religion I wouldn't consider Islam inherently violent. How many of use are comfortable saying the entire religion is violent because of what the radical fringes of Islam have done? I certainly am not. I don't see much of a difference.
ReplyDeleteThis doesn't mean there aren't Bama fans I hate, because there certainly are. But I'm going to base my overall opinion on those I know best.
